I was on my up to the Berry today to meet my sons Grandfather to make the weekend drop off and noticed a lot of people at DC, I was wondering if anyone here was out there and how they did?

The main boat ramp area (toward Wallsburg) was productive for me last Friday. Started in deep water but ended up finding the trout in 12' of water. Chartreuse ice fly tipped with mealworm was the ticket. Slush was present by the boat ramp, way less as you move toward Wallsburg.

Fished DC on Saturday on the South side of the Island. No luck from 8:30 to 10:30. We then moved out to the middle of the lake. 3 of us caught 20 trout from 11:00 to 12:30p.m. Fast action....All released for another day. [

How deep was the water in the middle of the lake? And where in the water column were they?

Sorry to butt in as I know you were asking someone else but I fished the middle between the tracks and the island on friday. It was between 20 and 30 feet. I was very surprised that it was not deeper. I caught 14 and all were within a few feet of the bottom. Hope that helps

I fished on the tracks side closer to the dam Sunday. It was pretty slow. The deepest water I found was 69' but I didn't go out to the middle. I fished mainly in 20-36' of water and looking back, should have tried shallower than that.
I have only fished DC through the ice 2 times, both this year. I would like to get a walleye or a few perch, but all I can seem to catch there are slimers. Does anyone feel like sharing DC pointers, approximate locations or depths?
Thanks, KF.

It was about 35 feet deep and the fish were 3 cranks off the bottom.
