[cool][#0000ff]Probably your best shot is the "Pelican Point" marina...also known as the Saratoga Springs PUBLIC harbor...not to be
with the private development harbor.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]It is about 7 miles south of the big Smiths Store on Redwood Road in Saratoga Springs. You drive on the two lane road, past the golf course, until you come to a bunch more homes just before you get to Pelican Point. There is a sign on the right side of the road directing you to turn left...down through the homes and through a gate to the launch area. (see pic).[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]It has been open for two or three years and has been free up until late last year. Not sure what the fees are, but it is a nice launch ramp, with restrooms and a fish cleaning station.[/#0000ff]

Unless you are going to drive down Redwood Road from the Salt Lake Valley aren't you still going to have to deal with the traffic in Lehi (at least the west side of Lehi)?

fees are 9 bucks. They sell an annual pass as well, I can't remember what it cost. Something around 70 bucks. This harbor is owned by Saratoga Springs city.. So your state pass wont work here.

AMEN olmoose!! I live there and its getting worse every day! I wish they would hurry and get the shortcut to I-15 built!
If you can avoid mainstreet at all, the traffic is better. If you get off the freeway at the AF exit and go over the tracks down 700 south, its usually better than mainstreet, but it can still be heavy during rush hour.
