The guys at the Triple M repair shop in Gladwin report that they have been getting their limits of walleye a mile out from the D.N.R. launch (by the first pressure crack ).
They used several colored jiggs , all were doing the trick in 15' to 20' of water .

The local lakes have slowed down (panfish and pike ).

Suprised they still have good ice out there on the Bay. I'm not sure I'd go out there.

With all the rain we got the other day most of the ice over on this side of the state is more like slush.

We didn't get the rain , more snow the other day .
We missed the last snowfall , it went south . The news said Daves area recived 10" of the fluffy stuff .
Our snow is more like cement now .
