hey, Im planning on going fishing this saturday with a buddy and don't know where I should go. I would rather go to strawberry cause I know the fish I catch will be bigger and lately it's been really good fishing, but without snowmobiles I hate to walk to where i would go in all that snow, and i refuse to stay by the crowds. So my other option is deer creek, or scofield. I would like to go to deer creek because of the variety of the fish in the lake, you never know what's going to come out of the whole! but, from my experience deer creek can be very slow if fished on a bad day. Do you have any advice on where i should go? what are my pros and cons here! what would you do if you were in my position?

Sounds like you have already come up with the criteria that you feel is important. I had the same choices and opted for Strawberry and yes, I will probably be hiking about one mile before drilling my first hole.

You should do fine on Strawberry though it seems you're already aware you'll be doing some walking. Good luck!

ah ha you're right, and I'm sure that i will catch fish regardless of where I go. it's just which place will i have have least bad day.[] I'm gonna get my exercise this weekend i guess!
