[size 1]Hey guys, I wanted to let you know that since Sportsmans Warehouse isn't going to be at the show, Rocky Mt Tackle will have its own store at their booth. They'll have all of the kokanee gear, and even some new scents from Pro Cure. For those here that know kokanee, this stuff is the best of the best. For those who don't know kokanee and want to learn, there are going to be several seminars at the ISE.

Here is a schedule of topics that I'm interested in that our own sockeyeslayer (Jared Johnson) will be participating in. Stop by and support one of our members. Also, if you're into kokanee, check out the RMT booth. Many of us have gotten tons of great koke info from Jared here on BFT. Lets support one of our own!

At the Aquarium
"Catch more trout & Kokanee"
Thur 6:30 pm
Fri 7:30 pm
Sat 3:30 pm
Sun 2:30 pm

At the Campfire Theater
"Flaming Gorge"

All of our products will be featured at the show and can be purchased on sight and following the show they will be available at Sportsmans Warehouse as well as many other vendors....so come by and see us!!!! Bring on the OPEN WATER!!!!!!

I hope you have a great Expo Jared. I'm looking forward to seeing you there. I just read the vendors list and have a few more stops to make as well. James Bradshaw (maniac custom lures) is going to be there as well. Another great BFT member! You guys are doing well and providing some great tackle.

I'll see you there!

I hope you did well at the show. I, however, will not be attending any of the ISE shows again. I did send them an email voicing some of my concerns over the lack of vendors, which is what the vast majority of attendees show up for. I was cordial in my email, simply voicing my concerns to help them get a better understanding of what at least one person was thinking and the reason I wasn't attending.
I received a very unfriendly, condescending, and accusing email back from their 'director of communications'.

Based on the attitude of the people running these shows, I feel no desire to line their pockets any time in the future.

Maybe you should post what they said...

Here is the text of the reply from ISE:

" I’ll send you the same message I sent another of your posting buddies, since each of you used much of the same boilerplate language….

Thanks for writing. I’m sorry that nearly 500 exhibitors (including more than 100 that are retailing something), 10 special events, 12 special features, the West’s best outdoor experts, free parking, a free 8.000-sq.-ft. Youth Fair, and a variety of easily accessed discount coupons aren’t enough incentive for you to visit the event. Also, youth 12 and under enter for free.

There is no other event in your state that offers so much for such a reasonable price (by the way, how much are 90-minute movies these days?).

SW took a 6,000-sq.-ft. space out of a quarter-million. They decided not to participate. I suggest you and your online buddies use your social-networking muscle to nudge them, if you even care.

Virtually every product and service is available 24/7/365 on the Internet. Our show is about having fun, building relationships and, we hope, buying some neat products and services that most people won’t see up close. Our show is not, and has never been, about bargain-basement or last-season’s leftovers. Again, the Internet is a great place for such trolling. Many exhibitors, of course, did offer great discounts.

Given your comments, I suspect that you probably don’t go to SW anymore, either. Why would you? After all, you can troll for cheaper stuff on the Web. No doubt you’ve sent them a rude email, too. How did they reply?

P.S. The ticket price is $10, not $9."
