We trolled for 3 hours using blue foxes and rapalas, I had no bites, my friend that was with me had one bite and missed it, fishing was not too good but it felt good to get the boat out for the first time this season. There were some spots where the fish finder would pick up groups of fish but other than that nothing.

Bendopolo and I got out to Boulder Res. on Sunday morning for about 4 hours. I was in my tube, Bendopolo on his 'toon. We were hoping against the odds that the inlet would be flowing, it wasn't. We kicked/fished from the inlet to the dam, up the dam, out to a buoy and Bendopolo finally got one, a decent walleye. He got another bump shortly after, no fish, and that was all the action for the day.
Like you said, not much luck but it was nice to get out on the water again.

I have always woundered do your legs get cold when your out in a tube with the water still cold? I know you wear waders but does the cold still get to your legs?

I wore jeans with sweat-pants underneath and my legs stayed plenty warm. But even with wool socks inside the neoprene feet of my waders, my feet were pretty much two numb stumps when we got out.[pirate]
