Winder was bone dry last year and I have not heard any info on if they plan on restocking it or not. Actually what I first heard was that they were getting rid of Winder all together, but someone informed me differantly so who knows!!! Condie didnt dry up last year. It went down far enough to where you couldnt launch a boat, so hopefully it didnt have too much winter kill and will be just as successful as last!!!

Even if Winder is restocked it will take a couple of years for it to come back. It was just getting to be a really good little lake again. I was having a lot of fun with the bass on my fly rod.
Condie was awesome last spring. I think it will be just as good if not better. If people keep following the trophy bass rules, there will be some hogs in there over the next couple of years. I think the bluegill could use some more thinning. They were still a little smaller than they have been historically.
I have fished those two lakes every Spring for around 17 years. I have wonderful memories bass an blue gill fishing the Preston area. Now I am taking my sons with their 3 weight outfits and they are having a ball catching the bluegill. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to hook their kids on fishing.
