Just curious if anyone has done a "drive-by" past Deer Creek this weekend? Any ideas when the ice might come off? It is pretty breezy on this side of the mountain, at least up here in Roy, wondering if this breeze would be "stiff" enough to knock some of the ice off of the lake? Also, has the water level come up any since before the ice capped the lake? Just wondering if we will be able to launch a boat as soon as the ice comes off!!! Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

I drove by on my way back from strawberry saturday heading to cabelas. The shore line was open with maybe 5 feet of water and the ice was really milky looking by the most part..Maybe soon it will be all open water. Hope this will help

FF462- Yep I got the boat out today and ran the motor for about 10 minutes and the kicker motor for about 15 minutes. I think I have everything all tuned up. All I have to do is replace my "bunks" on my trailer, but I am going to wait until I go fishing. Makes it much easier when the boat is off the trailer[
]!!!
NoBites- Thanks for the info on Deer Creek. My knowledge on ice conditions sucks so hopefully "milky" looking ice is a good thing for me, soft water fisherman!!![
