I bought a small boat so I could start taking Mrs. Fishned on outings with me. Her health won't allow her to make it up and down streams flyfishing any more.

We took it out to Willard Sunday to try it out and froze out butts off for our efforts.

So she wants to try out southern Utah to see if we can catch some fish until it warms up here.

Does anyone know how St. George area lakes are fishing? If they are fishing good enough yet to make it worth a trip down there from Syracuse. And if so, I could use a little advice on how to hopefully get her (and me) on some fish.

Thank you in advance, Ed

I don't know how Quail and Sand Hollow are doing this year, but I tried them last year at this time and didn't do well at all.
However, if you are like me and can't wait for some soft water fishing, wait about 3 weeks and go to the dam at Lake Powell! Tie up to the aluminum barrier and catch Stripers all day long! Thats what we have done the last 3 years and it rocks!
