Well it still looks pretty good. Ice from Antelope Flat north to Buckboard looks safe and a few anglers were on the ice off Anvil Draw and Big Bend. The pressure ridges were bulging, lake wide, and I could see small pockets of water opening up around a few of them. The edges were pulling away from shore on some of the southern exposed banks and/or shallow slopes. Other than that conditions looked great and it appears to be another, if not the last, ice fishing weekend on the Gorge.

Boats are launching from both Cedar and Mustang ramps, but a patch of ice around Eagle Creek will impede uplake travel. Hope it helps, Ryno

Thanks for the update Ryno, are you planning on going out this weekend?

fished Buckboard tonight, a little slow, but still got a few mack pups and burbot. About 5 feet of open water around the shoreline, but ice still solid and 12"+ thick.

I'm hoping to hit the ice tonight or tomorrow night or both. We'll see what the weather does, but I've got the shakes being I haven't fished in a couple of weeks!
