What a beautifull day we had Saturday[Smile] Hardly a breeze all day long. First day out on the toon to do some serious fishing.

Started at Norton Bay and moved south. Marked suspended fish on the finder, but no takers. Water temp ranged from 40 to 43. HAd the best results with a black grub with chartreus tail and a worm in shallow bouncing on the bottom. Caught a 3+ trout but when I put her in the basket the lid stayed open and she was free[crazy]

Lost of fishers out there in boat and shore. Many trout being caught. We looked for perch where we had iced fished but no one wanted to play. My buddy however, taught me the art of walleyeing. He had 7 on and brought home 5 one pushing 3#s and one that had 2 tags on it. It was one of those days when you try to imitate the other guy and you can't catch a thing they come right in behind you and around you and find the one that laughed at your presentation[Sad] It was a very humbling day[Tongue]

However, The Lord blessed us the Easter Weekend with a beautifull day and some wonderfull fishing. He is so good to us[Smile]

I have many of those days where the other guy has figured it out and I am trying to imitate him. On the other hand there have been days when the shoe was on the other foot.

Sounds like a great time. I had a beautiful day at Ririe yesterday.
