Fishing Forum

Hit Deer cr. on my way home this evening, I fished east of the main state park where a small river enters the lake. There was enough open water to fish but it was muddy, the fishing was slow (only one bite). I saw several fish jump, but no takers. If you were to fish with bait you may do better, I tried rapalas, jigs and a few spoons. Saw lots of ducks and even a few deer on the hillside across from me. Good fishing, bad catching.
