I'll have my team as well as the rest of the RMT Pro Staff. We usually have 4 or 5 boats entered. Last year was a great derby with a lot of big fish weighed each day. Buckboard is not the only derby on the lake either. The Villa holds their derby out of Manila on the 17th and 18th of May. Those applications should be available within the next week or so. That derby fills up very quickly, so if anyone is interested in that one, keep your eyes open and enter as soon as the info is posted.

Flaming Gorge - Buckboard Derby Report 2005
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Father, Brother In-law, Nephew & I returned home late sunday night. We had a great time fishing the gorge ( june 11 &12 ). We caught lots of fish. I didn't take many pictures do to rain, wind.
We found fish from 30 to 45 ft deep. We used 2 downriggers & snap weights on the other poles. We trolled orange lures/ 00 silver dodgers. caught tons of little Lakers (6 lb largest), 4 Rainbows and lots of kokes (3 lb largest). We fished mostly straight across from the Buckboard Marina.
The guys from Californnia fishing took 1st place & tied for 3rd in the Kokanee division. Meet them at the hotel, really good Kokanne fisherman.
1st place Laker = 32.76 lb.
1st place Rainbow = 3.66 lb.
1st place Kokanne = 4.40 lb.
1st place Brown = 4.58 lb. won big fish & big brown $3,000.
1st place Bass = 3.01 lb.
