Hi Folks,

Looking at picking up a vest pack and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Watermark Hydro Vestpack? Fishwest has it on sale for 49.95.Seemed like a good deal for a pack with a no bull lifetime warranty. Would be greatful for any and all comments.[laugh]

Thanks much
Pa

I my self like a chest pack, started out with a regular multi pocket vest and thought it was a bit old fashioned. Found a chest pack on sale and think it was one of the best purchases ive made.

one of the things I like about it is allot of chest packs now have detachable small to large backpacks its nice to have storage for a jacket, or or extra gear, also there room adding a hydration pack the WJ watermark has guides through the shoulder starp to run the hose from back to front.

I don't have any personal experience with that specific vest pack, but I too have switched to a vest pack and would have a hard time going back to a regular fishing type vest, especially on a long, hot summer day, or when I find myself walking a lot. I also have some smaller chest packs that I love to take with me on short outings.

I would SERIOUSLY consider looking into a William Joseph pack. You can get one for around that price and the same lifetime warranty. They make an awesome product that has tons of features and is very lightweight.

I know very little about the packs them self but I do know that Vortex carries the willam Joesph packs and I think some watermark stuff also. Vortex is a really great local company that primarily makes backpacks but carries all that stuff with wholesale pricing. I've even seen sportsmans packs there for cheap. Not a lot of selection but if they have what your looking for it may be may be worth looking into, and if not well I tried.
Vortex is on roughly 1700 s. 900 w.
Enjoy,
Kris
