The Robert J. Lytle Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society along with the Farmland Pheasant Hunters will conduct a Gun Dog Fun Trial on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Farmland Pheasant Hunters, 7104 Gosline Road, Brown City, Michigan, beginning at 8 a.m.
According to Brian Allison the entry fee for the event is $40 per dog, and all entries must be received by April 8. Two chukar's per dog will be set out on each 20 minute brace time. Hunters can keep all the birds they shoot. Cleaning will be available for a nominal fee. Each dog must be void of any electronic training devices.
Hunters are limited to two dogs per entry, and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placements. Lunch will be available for $5 pp.
