Just checked the realtime weber flows http://waterdata.usgs.gov/ut/nwis/uv/?site_no=10129500&PARAmeter_cd=00065,00060,72020,00010,00095,00300,63680
and realized they just released 131 CFS up from 67 just two days ago. If this keeps up, I will not be going out on Saturday. Bummer. Anyone been up today (Thursday), what are the conditions like?

I was going to go today, but it's still too cold. If I wanted snow in April, I'd live in Alaska!
Er... what do those numbers mean, anyhoo?

Drove by the lower part today (below Weber Canyon) and it was high and looked like chocolate milk.
Hit the Ogden instead. Nice BWO hatches. [cool]

They were releasing water at a rate of 67 CFS. CFS means Cubic Feet per Second. They are now releasing water at a rate of 131 CFS. This means there is twice the water being released now as before. This increased flow will muddy the water for a while.

Has anyone been up there lately to see if the water is muddy?

Haven't seen it in the last couple day however the Weber almost always clears in 2 -3 days of when they increase the flows to these moderate levels out of Rockport and Echo for irrigation. Would just avoid further down from the reservoirs as some runoff is taking place with warmer weather. Wanship area should be fine but would check right before you go just to make sure they haven't increased the flows further. The only time this has failed me they increased the flows while I was driving to the Weber.

Oohhh... from like.. a dam, or reservoir, or somethin'?
That makes sense now! Thankies for informing the newbie

I was planning on fishing the weber on Thursday but it was pretty high and way muddy so I drove up to Lost Creek to see what it looked like. It is still froze over with soft edges. On the way down hit the Ogden river, had a couple of takers but couldn't bring any in. Didn't stay long though.
