I had the Jay, Amy Turney and her boyfriend Drew down again.....Jay has been out with me several times, but the last time him and his daughter and her boyfriend came down the fishing was slow, and it started off that way yesterday with only one 15 pounder in the first 5 hours.....allot of rain falling and the wind had was biting more than the fish......we were fishing the Nuke area, but I decided to take out and try some river fishing.....I kinda thought it wouldn't be much better with the water just barely churning out of the dam.......but boy was I wrong, we only had to make 2 anchors and caught 11 cats weighing in at 67,66,51,41,33,31,29,25,20,17, and 17.....we had two or three occasions when we had multiple fish in the boat before we could release them.....it was fast and furious, to anyone who doesn't believe the 34inch law is working in TN... here's some proof to go along with what numerous other Tennessee catfishermen are telling me such as Phil King.
All fish were caught in 25-32ft of water on channel ledge on cut skip-jack....I posted a pic of the bait that caught the 67 pounder, that came from a 2 1/2 lb skippy.
