[cool][cool] 4/17/08...SHELL BEACH REPORT....Kelly and Dave, two of my regulars from Hattiesburg joined me today to hunt for trout. We started in a small bay and by 10:30am we didn't have so much as a bite until we hit a shoreline with a nice oyster reef and bait flipping all around and the trout began to hit the box. These were nice trout from 2 to 3 lbs. and one nice 4 pounder to add to the mix. Kelly and Dave were throwing Campo's live cocahoes under a rattling cork and they kept putting trout in the box until a 20 lb. bull red inhaled a large cocahoe and Kelly had a fight on his hands but he did a great job getting it in and releasing it for someone else to enjoy. After putting 40 fat specks(all female's) in the box we headed in for a cleaning party at the "Beach". GREAT TRIP, GREAT GUYS. ANOTHER GREAT DAY IN THE BLAZER BAY.
