I have always wanted to go to pineview to catch a tiger and we finally have the boat to do it. Any advice on timing and techniques would be much appreciated. Thanks BFTER'S

Wait a month for the water to warm or get over 60 degrees and then start fishing submerged brush along the shore and in the bays. End of May and this year I am sure into June they are going to be shallow this year.

What will you throw at them?

3 to 4" minnow imitating lures that have alot of wiggle to them in perch, fire tiger, or rainbow trout are my choices... If you use suspending lures add some pauses on your retrieve or if they follow right up to the boat. You dont want to use a lures that goes more than 5 to 6' deep either. If its anything like last year there are plenty of smaller tigers that will keep you entertained. The bigger ones tend to be on the deep edge of the submedged brush and you can go deeper and bigger but the action will not be as fast and if your cherish your tackle start Learning on the smaller more avilable guys....
