Could somebody give me directions to Vernon Reservoir? I'm having the hardest time finding it on any maps. Even topozone didn't help much.

it's been a while since i've been there but as you go south on hwy 36 through vernon the road bends east shortly after the bend there is a good dirt road on the right. turn there. go south on this road. (this is where my memory is fuzzy) If I remember right after a while the road tees and you go to the left. And just when you think you are totally lost you will see the lake. Like i said its been a while since i've been there hope i don't get you to lost.

topozone . I hope this works . http://topozone.com/map.asp?z=12&n=4425290&e=382544 After you make the first left you will have a right turn at a ranch and the road will have several smaller curves but keep going straight . There is another road that you don't want to turn on just remember to go south . Its not to bad to find . I hit it Jan 1 for a ice fishing trip and had to plow my way thru , but not bad . Try copy / paste on that web link . the small red x is real close to the lake if not in it . Tight lines
