As of last Saturday the water was starting to move out from the bank at Blowout . You could have fished off the bank . I am going back up this Friday , I am preaty sure we will be able to launch boats . Thanks Curt G.

Went to pali
es today. The good news is that the ice is off at indian creek and half way to blowout. The bad news is that the water is pretty brown. I did find some very fishable water on the west side of the reservoir though. I would have tried it out, but the bears were calling louder than the fish today. I will be up there next wednesday with a fishing pole for sure. Let me know how you do.

Well the ice is off. We Trolled around mostly by the dam and did pretty good. At first we were using dodgers and flashers with 18 to 24 inch leaders to rapalas and panther martins, we got a couple and had some we missed but it seemed all the other boats were out fishing us. So we got some help from another boat he said loose the dodgers and flashers use a 20 foot jet diver with 8 foot leader to the biggest rapala you've got. So we tried it and had our limit 45 min later. Good luck and thanks for the info.

I tried to post my results but this new site sucks. Anyway, we trolled by the dam and up the east side and caught the crap out of 'em. We had many doubles, even a triple. We caught fish on the downriggers, jigging, casting, flatlining, and off the planer boards. We did best on gold and flo. red but I dont think it mattered that much. The biggest brown was 4 pounds. It was one of my best days ever on my boat !!!
