Anyone know about what the water temp.s at Devil's Creek, Glendale.Weston. Condie, Twin, etc. are? I'm having trouble waiting for the LM bite. Don't mind if it's a little slow because it's early, just looking for some moderate action. [
] How about the Narrows for smally action? River smallies are my favorite!!!!!!!

Not sure on the exact temps, but a week ago when i fished Oneida and Foster, water was very cold and in talking to others, not much was happening, but that was a weekago and weve had some warmer weather. LG mouth were hitting some in the narrows.
With price of gas, Id like to know also what is happening down that way so I dont have to spend $90.00 for a bust day.
Post up and let's see whats happening from Twin to Glendale, etc!
Thanks

I went up to fish Glendale on Saturday and the water was so off colored that I didn't even bother fishing. I went and tried Lamont but I didn't even have a bite. There is a lot of water coming in to Glendale and I think that it will be a couple of weeks before it clears up. Last weekend when I fished the water was very cold.

I have gone down to the Preston area for the last 20 years to fish the bass and bluegill spawn. I have not been there yet this year, but I am not going until a couple of weeks into June the way things have been this year. The air temps have to be in the 80s for a couple of weeks to get the water temps into the magic range.

I agee with ya windriver but cant stand it any longer, gonna head to twin in morning and see what is brewing. After this next week, thing should be on the move and most likely will put the big spawn in the middle of june with good fishing into first of july. Will post up what happens.

Well, i went. Thats about all I can say. 6 boats on Twin and only thing most were catching were rainbows in the 15-16 inch cat. One group was catch and release bass that are just starting to hit, but, not a pan fish to be had and no one, i mean no one even saw any in the shallows either. Makes me wonder what is happening, but, I think its gonna be about June 1 before they show up and hit any thing. Even a guy who swore he could catch crappie no mater what got skunked.
Water is still about 8 feet down, which a year ago this weekend when i camped there, resevoir was full and crappie hitting all over place.
Have to wait a little longer i guess but should push the spawn into first of july a little bit. Good Luck

Leaky 33,
The water was 53 to 57 F by the way. The rest of what was said is agreed.
