Hi Folks
can anyone give me updated instuctions on how to get to bountiful pond these days. every road I tried the other day was closed.(I hate orange cones). I will be comming from salt lake. need to get my grandson out in his floattube for his first time and thought we would do it there(less crowded) any and all comments will be apprecieated very much.[]

I had the same problem when I tried to find it the other day. I asked for some help from a jogger. With her help I found my way. The problem is that you have to get across the Legecy hwy. To do that you have to continue north on 800 W. until you can turn onto the Legecy Hwy. Then you follow it back to the south a short distance just past the dump. There is an orange sign that says "pond" pointing to a dirt road. Take that and you are there.

It is a mess. When I went on Saturday they had detour signs if you came in off of Legacy. I just went through the normal way by the dump and ignored the "road closed" signs. It didn't seem to be a problem. But they change it so often who knows what it will be like tomorrow! Good luck! Anybody been catching anything other than carp or cats lately?
