Lunkerhunter2, his son, and I hit up Pineview yesterday afternoon for a little tiger and smallie action.

We started off by pounding the shoreline with cranks. Within 5 casts, Brody had a 30" tiger follow him all the way to the boat. A few minutes later I scored the 1st smallie of the day. About 17" or so. A few minutes later Brody scored his 1st smallie... about 15" or so. We thought it was going to be a stellar day, but it was not to be. I ended up catching 1 more smallie, and Brody scored a few more, but it was pretty slow.

About an hour before we left Brody nailed a small muskie.. about 23" or so. Didn't see any big ones all day.

It was great to get out, and for a good part of the day we didn't have to fight the wind.

I'll attatch some pics when I get home. Brody has some on his camera as well that he can throw on here.

it was a great day. we caught crappie big crappie! we caught small to medium sized tigers 3 missed and lost a few moore. we did see one giant tiger or chuck saw it. chuck got a good smallie after we talked to you guys. brody son is cool. when he said its to nice a day to work was funny. to bad we had to split so soon. [:/] tigers were not hitting the trolling tactic,s at all. casting big rapalas was best for tigers. nothing hit top water all day.[frown]

Sounds like ya all had fun. I was going to head up there tomorrow, but plans changed. I will most likely try and get up there on Sat morning. LH2 boy is a great kid I met him when I bumped in to Brody fishing Willard one time. That kid as most likely caught more fish than a lot of us old seasoned salts....
