Which lake to choose, Fish lake or silver lake?

What bait to use, salmon eggs, worms or a topwater plug?

If you're planning on catch and release, I'd stick with lures (topwater plugs are good for bass in the early am when it is barely light, but not as much for trout).

If you want some to take home for the table, you should be able to do ok with worms or some other bait.
