[indent]Highway 89-91 to Logan. Through Logan north to Smithfield. Turn left on first north in Smithfield (third stoplight). Stay on this road through the river bottoms to Newton. You will see a sign for Newton Lake on your right. Travel north until you go around the 90 degree right turn. Travel over the dam and you can see the boat launch from there. Water was pretty muddy on Sat (5/17) from runoff and water skiers. Only had one chaser to the boat and zero hookups in about four hours. Water temp was 61 degrees. Up 10 degrees from last weekend.

On Saturdy I fished 9 til 1 and we had several followers but none actually hit. We saw about 25 Tigers swiming around the boat and a few bass. It was a nice day but no takers.

Turn west at Wellsville park and ride just as you enter the Valley and go through the city. At the end it will T and take a left. You will go through Mendon. Stay on this road until you hit Newton which will be the length of the Utah portion of the valley (the road will end or T again). You will notice a large isolated mtn and the reservoir is just west of that. Hang a right and turn left when you get to the ball park. Go all the way down and you will hit the reservoir. This will save about 20 minutes of driving going through Logan and back tracking.
