I will do some checking around but as far as I know Henrys has not iced out yet. With the temperatures this week it could happen.

I heard that as of this morning (mon 5-19) there was still ice on it, I'm not sure how solid it was, but there was definately still ice.[:/] Hopefully it's gone by Sat.
Also just a reminder to those of us headed up there, you will be required to spray your boats down with the big preasure washers that they will have there, to try to prevent the introduction of any aquatic nuiciance species like eurasian watermilfoil, new zeland mud snails, or quagga or zebra mussles. So allow for (hopefully only) a few extra minutes at the ramp

I just heard 1st hand information from Damon (Fish and Game) that there are huge hole in the ice. He is on the lake right now. 20% totally ice free. They have not had the wind to finish the job but the first wind that they get the ice will be totally gone. The remaining ice is thin and broken into chunks. Sorry no more ice fishing this year.[cool]
Good Luck to all this weekend

[#0000ff] You can rent boats with motors in several places. One is the Wild Rose Ranch (wildroseranch.com) or 208.558.7201 on the North side. Nice place, rooms and restaurant. you can get a map from their website.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]There are some really nice 10-12 lb Rainbows and hybrids in there. The place has a store with tackle and bait and they will give you friendly advice. [cool][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Good luck fishing. If nothing else, you will enjoy the scenery.[/#0000ff]
