Hey all,
I am taking a group of scouts to my favorite camp of all time, Little Lemhi. I like to get them into some better fishing than the pond. In the past, I've taken them onto the river, right below the dam. Do any of you a have any advice on what to use. It seems like I've seen some local experts, and a Doug Miller show some time back, using some kind of jig. Any suggestions? If you think we can be succesfull from the bank of the lake, any advice for that would be great also. I appreciate your help.

Sneeky, It depends when you are coming. We are having an exceptional amount of run0off this year. The lake and the river look like chocalate milk and probably wont clear until early July. If you are doing the river worms are legal below the dam and catch lots of fish. I like throwing Rapala husky jerks..size 5 or 7...in black and gold or black and silver. The lake doesnt fish well from shore the later you get. If you are coming soon you may want to change plans or do a whitewater trip on the river instead of fishing !!

Thanks for the info. We are coming the last week of June. Are those jigs or lures?
