What a weird weather weekend. One minute you were hot, the next you were throwing on the rain gear. The fish didn't appear to mind though, which is good.
Saturday- We fished upstream from Jarvies. We caught 10 kokes, 2 lakers, and 2 bows during a late morning bite. Fish were still stacked from 15-30ft. We did best with a Serpent spoon in watermelon running 25ft. A close second was a #2 Needlefish in Flourescent Green Hot Tiger at 25 ft. Boat speed was about 1.8mph and water temp was 50F.
Sunday- Same place, same time. Fishing was slower and we only landed 6 kokes, 1 laker, and 1 bow. We missed and lost a few others. Once again the Serpent spoon in watermelon was the top producer, but this time it was chasing Bolo blades in rainbow color at 25ft. Boat speed was around 2-2.2mph and water temp was 50F.
Hope it helps, Ryno
