Well, I tried Twin again today with grandson and friend of his. I should have stayed home. Saw lots of bass in the willows, lake still about 6 feet down, and only a couple bluegill groups. They wouldnt hit a thing i threw at them, but 2 older gents caught 4 with the biggest one about 7 inches. The groups I saw would average about 4-5 inches. Small, small, small [frown].

No crappie hitting yet or seeing any, and from how cold the water feels and with our storms coming through, I think its gonna be at least another 10 days before they really start to get on the urge to spawn. Even the trout were slow hitters today with only 1 in the bag but he was about 3+ pounds and gave a good fight for my grandson. So, not sure how the other bluegill areas are doing down that way, but, with the free fishing day coming up next weekend, may be a lot of disappointed people and young kids if it doesnt really warm up a lot by then.

That's disappointing. I was looking forward to some bass catching there in the near future (never been there). Guess we'll have to wait. Sparky and me are having a lot of trouble waiting for some bassun in the S.E./Preston area. The tent trailer is sittun all stocked up. Ain't gittun any younger (both trailer and Me). Sparky's in his prime though! [laugh]

The guys who fish for the bass seem to be doing ok, but its the other fish that dont seem to be around. Sure hope the low draw down didnt take a toll on em.
