Which lakes in Idaho have Kokanee salmon in them?

Anderson Ranch, Arrowrock, Lucky Peak, Stanley, Warm Lake, Cascade (coho and kokanee), Payette, Little Payette, Dworshak, Coeur d'Alene, Pend'Oreille, just to name a few. I'll leave the eastern side of the state to someone over there. Mike

All of the reservoirs and lakes that Mike identified offer fishing for Kokanee, but one that he didn't mention that's definitely worthy of including is Deadwood. Pettit lake up by Stanley also offers Kokanee fishing, and I would assume that the same is true for Alturas as well. I haven't ever personally caught one in Alturas, but considering it's relative proximity to Pettit, it's probably getting a similar stocking mix by IDF&G.

From what I've been hearing lately from other fishermen, Lucky Peak is probably one of the best options right now if you're interested in going after them in the relatively near future.

There is no kokanee in devils creek they all died off do to low water last year i talked to a fish and game warden and he said there wasn't any left period so don't waste your time at devils creek besides if there is any left they have a rare disease that makes them poisiouse to the touch and they ruin ever lure in your takle box even if you don't take them out of the box and for some reason if you don't die from touching them you will have diarear for a month! Terrible info on devils creek just ignor and move on [Wink] some times i hate the internet
