[cool][#0000ff]I made a good score on something at a yard sale today. I know what it is...and have actually used one...in the "olden days".[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I know there are a few "seasoned" anglers on the board who have been exposed to these...from the past. Does seeing it bring back any fond memories...of Fish Lake, with Gramps?[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I have heard of them being called Fish Lake Flyrods.[/#0000ff]

[#500000]You could resell it on TV as a workout machine for the hand, wrist, and forearm, and make some money.......Is that the super weight forward, fast competition, quick sink flyline, that comes with it?[/#500000]

Nice catch, you did good. Can't wait to see you fish that from your tube. [Wink] I watched an uncle catch many fish at Fish Lake (unfortunately they were all rainbows) with one of those. It was interesting watching him bring in the fish.

Actually Fish Lake, Strawberry, Panguitch, ect with my dad. Thats all he would ever fish with. He always drug pop gear and a worm behind it. On rare occasions maybe a flatfish. He is 92 now and I just can't talk him into going fishing with me.

I've got five or six of those that were in my Grandpa's house in Salina. He used them at Otter Creek. He had tons of old flatfish and triple teasers.
