So, I've been doing some Googling, and finally found what I was lookin' for. Apparently they have shut off the 1-84 part of Weber River, because it's illegal to park along a highway at all...and now they're actually enforcing it, with that extra fence and "no parking" signs.

However, I did find a site with a list of trails, and there's one that goes right along Weber River, in Riverdale. I'm going to go there tomorrow afternoon, and see what it looks like. I'm also wondering if I should E-mail the group that takes care of the trails, and see if it's even allowed to fish there... on the one hand, asking might prevent it if they say 'no'. On the other hand, I don't want to get in trouble for just "assuming" I can and get a ticket or something when I get caught.

I wouldn't bother with the Weber River right now.... at least below Weber Canyon. The water is high, and very off color.

In addition, I have found that the fishing by Riverdale and lower to be much poorer than most spots on the river. There just seems to be fewer fish.

Oh...
Then I should just stick to the eastern section, huh? A little far for me, but oh well... it's worth it, if the fishing is better up there!
