Been fishin the Jordan an aweful lot lately. In Lehi, around the pump house/air park area. After work most nights, afternoons, mornings. Doesn't seem to matter. Haven't had a day under 20 Channel Cats. They've hit either Redsides, chub meat, or carp. Stayed away from worms, and kept most of the lil mudders off. A few pics:

Nice catch

Nice catch, but you are a braver person than I am to be eating fish out of The Mighty Jordan River.

A few of those were donated to my grandpa lol It's alright, though. About the same as Utah Lake. Dunno if that's better or not though...

It is probably sixes (and I have eatch channels out of Utah Lake and they didn't kill me) but seeing all of the trash that floats down The Mighty Jordan River somehow just doesn't make me hungry for fish.

Yeah. Me too. Anywhere but Lehi and I don't keep anything, either. That river could use a really good cleaning effort. Utah Lake, too. Guess it could be a good project to start.

I once fished below the pumphouse, probably less than 1/2 mile from Utah Lake and I was shocked at all of the trash that floated by while I was there fishing. Most of it was trash that appeared to have been thrown in the water less than 10 minutes before it floated past me! What are people thinking when they throw their trash into our waterways and along our beaches?

You've got me. I've cussed many a people out down there for littering, too. Just keeps coming and coming. It's horrible. Guess most people nowadays don't have too much in the line of morals or decency.
