Sorry for the late report, but I thought I would post it anyways. I fished DC a week ago in my float tube. I was hoping for a better day, but I can't complain with the overall results. I ended up netting 5 with the biggest going 15 inches. I did have consistent bites, but they were very light. I tried the normal tubing flies and found that I got bites on everything I tied on, but as as I said, they were very light. I also tried a type II sink and sink tip line to see if there was a difference, and had luck on both. I did end up fishing through a rain storm as you can see from the pictures. I had on my rain gear so I didn't get wet and I also got the most bites when it was raining, go figure.
