That 1997 SS 140 is still parked in the driveway...The neighbors have been very understanding.. I should take them fishing
Last time out, I took it to Topock Marsh in early May. Started fine and ran around the marsh just great. Bite was slower there than at Mead. Worked hard for 5 bites.
I am reducing the asking price to $5850 or best offer.
Details:
97 SKEETER FOR SALE
Cream and Metal-flake Green Dual console. 17ft SS140
115 HP Yamaha regularly maintained and in good mechanical condition. Lowrance Electronics - LCX 15MT with GPS at console, X135 at bow. Gator mounted 24v. 76lb Motorguide Energy on 50” long shaft.

Rigged it with a Bob's 5" manual jack-plate, Doel Fin, 4 Blade composite prop. Comes with 2 extra Piranha 4 blade composite props, extra TM prop and black Keelshield. Last season it got new original color Carpet. When the old carpet was removed I re-glassed the consoles to the sub-deck. This made for a much better ride.
I went through the wiring 2007 and upgraded everything. Steering cable has been replaced. Yamaha water pressure gage and auxiliary 12v outlet added at the console. On-board SCOT Stealth charger; charges the Trolling Motor batteries while running....Pumps, lights, livewells, gages...Everything works.

Early 2007 I replaced the trailer bunks. Trailer is in good condition with good tires and good spare.

As set up, the SKEETER has a good hole shot and can cruise at 45 mph with a tournament load and 2 people. Top end clocked at 50 mph on GPS with 20 lbs water pressure. You can easily store up to 7'- 6” rods in the rod locker and the tackle storage is adequate. I use it with an Igloo cooler in the front deck well for drinks.
This would be a good starter bass boat or a great Colorado River boat for someone. If you bought this Skeeter you could go to Lake Mojave, providing you can afford the fuel, this attachment pic might happen to you...[]

I'm selling because I upgraded to a 2007 Skeeter ZX 225.
