Take a kid fishing tommorro. There's place where IDFG is helping get the kids interested with door prizes, big fish instruction and just a good time. We're heading to the Hagerman Hatchery 9am - 1 pm.

Had a great day with the grand kids. Madisen the oldest granddaughter caught the 2nd biggest at 8.85 my grandson caught 3.35, and my other granddaughter caught a 2#er but must have released 12 fish.
Then if it wasn't for my invite and reminder my fishing buddy son would not have caught the 1st place fish at 11.5#'s.
Here's some pics.

Wow how fun for the kids. Looks like everyone had fun.
I think the golden ones may be bannana trout. A genetic trait that they breed together until they get that strain of rainbow. They plant them at Roberts Gravel Pond at times.

Those are some awesome fish!! You've got me jealous!
The golden - banana trout are actually albino rainbow trout. both of those names are used, so either way it works, and they look like fun!
Nice job
