got off work and had a hunkerin to fish so i snagged my daughters and ran to the river to see what we could muster up. got some whities to bite a curly tail. i hooked em and let the kids reel em in. it was my 5 year olds first fish. she is usually to timid to play fisherwoman. she got braver i guess. she's sooo proud of that fish. my older one is a seasoned vet of big cottonwood creek brookies but this was her first non-trout. i think i'm creating a new bass addict. anyway, not much to report that most folks dont already know----the jordan has white bass, they are small but fun to catch. just 2 proud kids who wanna gloat.
take yer kids fishing. it will make you closer to them. oh, and get them away from hannah montana for a brief lil bit. thats doing them a favor if you ask me.
