This is my first post to the site but I have visited (used) it more than just about any site I have ever had. I can’t thank you enough for your posts with ideas, tackle, presentation, etc. I have been viewing this site for over 6 months now and have emailed the link to all my friends and now, well it’s time to come out of the closest (tackle box!).
I’m a fishing junkie. At least I thought I was till I found this site…and I need "real" counseling now! I have changed my tactics, (love that drop shot technique with Berkley Minnow Grub!, I can personally account for over 100 fish in the past 2 months with that technique), I have changed my lures (love that laser / pointer rainbow Rapala, leaded line at 30’) and I’m getting hooked on bass and swaying away from the slimers… ha-ha..[Wink] (Summer fishing)… I float tube, canoe and boat… “Tackle and Tactic” is now my affirmation.. I thought I knew fishing till I found this site, browsing during winter months.. now I check it more often than my email! .. and I now realize that I am just starting a great fishing lifestyle. So… for today’s update and for my first blog…

Great fishing, my brother and son caught a lot and they can’t wait for the next trip. We didn’t catch anything large (all between 12 and 14, One 16”). But that wasn’t why we went there…. all catch and release but 2 who swallowed the hook. A true hideaway for the family…

Well, that’s my contribution to the party (blog) and I look forward to hearing from, fishing with and getting involved with, everyone who is as excited about Utah and what we have, as I do.. I would also like to thank the moderators for doing a great job in maintaining a professional blog.. and yes, I will have my camera at all times to take photos because I really enjoy seeing people and fish… (but no fish as large as those lakers from FG and Fish Lake!)..

[#0000ff]Sounds like you got a terminal case of fishing addiction. We gotta get you into a 12 cast program. It doesn't cure you but helps improve your technique.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Keep on fishin' and keep on postin'.[/#0000ff]

Welcome aboard. Thanks for all the good info on EC. I rode by on my bike on Friday on my way to my parents. I have not seen that pond that full in a very long time. I am looking forward to getting my float tube up there one of these mornings.
