i just got back from an incredible 3-day sturgeon fishing trip near CJ strike, we caught 13 sturgeon- the largest was 9 feet, followed by an 8 1/2 footer and a 8 foot 2in. the rest were all 5-7 feet. the conditions were perfect and they were bighting like crazy! they kept breaking me on previous trips so i went from 60lb to 80lb test, that helped out a lot.
