I finaly had a chance to take my son fishing for the first time on Saterday night. We fished off the dike at Mantua. The perch, Bluegill and Bass are finaly on off the dike. We floated worms under a bobber and could not keep the fish off the hook. We used size 16 circle hooks for them. That kept me from having to remove the guts of every fish caught. Most of all of them were hooked in the lip. So if you have a chance. Get your kids out there to show them how fun fishing can be.
