Need to go upto SE Idaho (outside of Wayan) sometime in the next couple weeks. Thought I might go in a couple days if any of the early runoff streams have settled down enough to fish. If anyone has any knowledge of conditions on Tincup or Stump Creek I'd greatly appreciate the info.

I know of one scout troop that planned a scoutcamp up Bear Creek had to change locations because the creek was too high to ford. Bear Creek is just a little North of the ones you mention. That's as close as I can get ya'.

I tried to get some information off the Idaho real time stream flo site....
I guess the rivers are too small to be noted....
The best thing I can think of is to look up business in freedom or star valley and ask them for information.
good luck

I wouldn't get to crazy yet. By the look of the stream flows above at PaliSades the end isn't here yet. Parts of the region got 2 ft of wet snow about 2 weeks ago. Mt and Wy are having peak flows just starting about 2-3 weeks later than normal

I wouldn't plan on having fishable streams for another couple of weeks. Check out the pics of the snow in the tale of three lakes post.

Needed to get some trees planted before things got too dry so I went up. Afterwards my son and I tried out a nearby stream. Water was in great shape. However last year's drought left us catching mostly fingerlings and an occasional 6-12 inch trout. Beautiful day and a great place to let a kid wade and cast. Hopefully the small streams will bounce back with another good water year.
