[cool]On July 12th 2008 there will be a "SAVE THE ONEIDA NARROWS" get-together there will be tubing, rafting, fly fishing lessons, music, D.J's, food, the whole works it will be held down at the bottom of the river next to highway 91 bridge and highway 36 turn off towards the narrows starting time is 11am going until 7pm they are still looking for some volunteers for directing traffic, food, cooks, tools ext. The Twin Lakes Canal Co. is trying to build a dam for water rights for the farmers ext. that will totally flood out the narrows which is used for a number of different things such as great fly fishing, other fishing, camping, floating the river, Utah State Univ. uses it for a number of different things as well. I believe they're the ones putting it on, but not for sure. I talked to the people putting it on and told them i would pass the word on. They want to make it a huge thing and try to do it every year to save the Oneida Narrows. I will put the info on once i get it on who to call or email if you are able and willing to help out for the day or half the day whatever you all can do will help out....
