I'M PRETTY EXCITED RIGHT NOW! as you can tell. I picked up a few goodies last night at BPS. As some of you may know I've been considering a pontoon boat lately, almost actually got a CC sport XL for $175 used but the guy backed out yesterday. So I did some more research on this addicting, time sucking, what I do instead of work , forum and decided what to buy last night. Some might say that I was enlightened and others may say... well I don't care what they would say.

I got the New Fish CAt 4-LCS by outcast. Also got some outcast fins, a new landing net and a mesh shoulder PDF. Tried to pick up a mesh basket for my keepers but the only ones that BPS had were BPS models and they were very cheap (paint flaking off, mesh sticking and very prickly all over- so I passed) and some fabric mesh bags that I heard were not good for tubing.

Anyways it was too late to pump it up for the first time last night and so I snapped a pic of the new gear. I'm planing on picking up a dremel and some pvc this evening and pimpin' out this ride for a possible "shakedown" this weekend.

so here's my ticket into the floating navy.

I've purchased all the pvc need (so i think) , all the connections , a little dremel (for "cutting through it like warm butter"-TD), and a big bag of bungies to strap it all in. I'm pretty sure I'll start it tomorow, but who knows if i'll finish. My wife and i are also moving apartments this next week so packing is a priority (in her eyes- shhhhhh don't tell)[Wink].

But I will promise every one pics of how i do it and links to my inspirations. Thanks everyone have a great weekend.

Congratulations!! Those Fish Cats are very nice tubes from all the account of folks who own them. There are several guys who have and use them on the lake I regularly fish here in So CA. I almost bought a Super Fat Cat before I settled on my H3.

well the pvc is cut, all holes drilled, conections connected, tubes notched, and got covered in pvc snow this weekend. Now I just have to glue it. I took alot of pics but I don't have my camera at work with me today so I'll have to post them tonight.

I made my self a 4 hole rod rack with attached bait rigger and a 4 hole tools rack with attached bait rigger. Hooked them up to the tubes D-rings with bungies and they are on snug... now just glue and paint!

I'll load up the pics tonight.

[cool][#0000ff]Just a warning. Do not try to post a coherent post after working with the PVC cement. Can you say "PVC impaired"? [/#0000ff]
