I just wanted to let everyone know that as far as I could see from Highway 40, the ice is entirely off of Strawberry. I checked back through a few dozen posts and haven't seen that anyone has posted the info. It was mentioned to me at Willard on Saturday that I should check again on the way home, and post as to the conditions.
I could see one boat on the water a long way back across the bay. It appeared to be by the entrance to the narrows. I did not drive around to check the Renegade/Meadows area, but the Strawberry Marina/Bay and surrounding bays, The Ladders, and the area by the Soldier Creek Dam, were all ice free.
