and here is my rack for (from back to front)net, lip gripper, needle nose pliers, baiting rod holder and then bait rigger in the front
[Image: IMG_4856.jpg]
now the other sides rod rack, three rod storage, one baiting rod holder with the bait rigger in front
[Image: IMG_4854.jpg]
and to hold it all together I drilled some screw hooks in the bottoms of the racks and in fron near the bait rigger. Then put the hooks into the D-rings and bungied everything around the tubes and to the D-rings on the bottom.

[cool][#0000ff]Looks good. A lotta thinkin' and a lot of work.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I can only suggest that you fish it a time or two before you "finalize" everything. Glue what you have to, but not everything. And, don't paint until you are satisfied with how it works.[/#0000ff]

Yeah I had just decided to not glue till its been tested. other wise I'll have to start all over again.

Neat set-up! Couple of questions, how is the hook screwed on, what does the little pvc in front at the angle do? And one more about that "c" cut on one of the rod holders?

hooks- these are just simple screws with a kinda hook on the end, I guess usually used for hanging plants, putting a hook in the kitchen to hang a towel or something. I just drilled a small hole in the pvc with a dremel and screwed them right in. then put the hooks through the D-rings next to the pockets, (that alone keeps the racks from falling down, but not snug enought against the tube) so I then just wrapped a bungie from hook to hook around the tube to snug it up.

the pvc in the front- are you talking of the one that goes towards the tip of the tubes, well if so that is there for extra support for the bait riggers. If a big fish hits the rod that in that holder there will most likley be a nice twisting pressure of all that pvc and this just kinda balances that all out.

and the "c" - is just a little rod lock for when its in the holder. chances are that if a fish hits the rod that in there, the rod wont come flying out of it since the entire handle of the rod are in the tube. But I'm not gonna have one that goes into the drink just on that off chance one does take the rod with him. It's just a little "L" shaped notch I made that gravity will keep the rod hooked in and when I need to take it out I just give it a twist.

Here are a few links to were i got "my" ideas

*note: I have not tested this notch I made yet, so i suggest not doing it. Unless you think it will work and are willing to take a chance. If this doesn't work out well, then I'll just chop it up and make the TubeDude original baitrigger. hopefully I get a chance to make a run with it all this weekend so i'll let yall know how they work.
