Headed out early this morning for Crawford reservior for some pike (yeah drove a long ways due to some bucket biologist). I caught a pike and largemouth in the first 5 casts....off to a good start and expecing a really hot morning but it slowly turned off by 9:00as the day started to warm up but not before I managed 3 pike, 3 largemouth (and had one short strike me right at the boat abotu 6lbs), and a nice rainbow along quite a few perch....they were fierce hitting an x-rap and 1/2oz spinner bait.
All in all a good trip and some time with the 'ol man....he was great at grabbing tackle for me when I needed it as he's not much into fishing but was a dang good cheerleader. No pics due to dead battery on camera...forgot to charge it after last trip.
Headed back out tomorrow afternoon to ensure my 2 year old catches his first pike.
