i am going to go fishing for LMB's which will most likley to catch many, spinnerbait, or chatterbait? also sorry for the noob question but how do you put the chatterbait on the line?

Either will work fine.
The Chatterbait is best on top water and earlier in the day. As soon as the water warms just a bit, the spinner bait will work good as long as you keep it about a foot to 18 inches under water.
Either can be tied on with a Palomar knot or a Trilene Knot.
