I rarely post on here, but have tremendous respect for all those who post and find this site a treasure trove of information.
Here is my question
I have had quite a bit of success at Deer Creek in previous years trolling for trout on the west side using Rapalas(I know trolling AND fishing for trout, but hey fishing is fishing). I am taking 4 or 5 people up to fish before a later work party and hoping to get into some fish. I haven't seen many successful reports recently. Is the water level and water temperature still conducive for this type of fishing? I would appreciate any advice from all you professional anglers out there; I'm not opposed to changing methods. We are planning to be on the lake by about 7:00 AM, hopefully this is early enough.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
