Here is some info on this years event. I know a few have been doing it for years, thx.



Our annual C.A.S.T. (Catch A Special Thrill) event is fast approaching. Event date is August 9th (has been on the calendar since last year's event) at Rockport Reservoir. Boat Captains need to be there by 7:30 am. Kids go out fishing starting at 8:30 am. We fish until 11:30 am when we come in for the (free) barbeque. Event is over by 1:30 pm. The initial estimate is that we need 24-26 boats. We have 12 so far. Please rsvp Valerie Harrison at [url "mailto:vharrison@uc.usbr.gov"]vharrison@uc.usbr.gov[/url] . The Utah Bass Federation has participated in this event since it was started here.

When is the latest you can sign up for this? I will not know until August 1 if i can make it that day or not. I wish i knew for sure.

I am in! I have been signed up since last year. This is well worth it! Come help some kids catch some fish.
